During the initial meeting, the core problem was established, being a lack of growth & revenue. There needed to be a sense of professionalism in the brand presentation while keeping things casual & approachable for the target market.
I put together a marketing persona and a moodboard to establish the direction for the identity system and went to work sketching ideas. The lore behind Mr. Biffer made the direction clear by establishing Mr. Biffer as a worker for a meat company in a post-apocalyptic future. I took that idea and focused on creating a mark that represented that in a fun, carefree way.
